This Garlic Parmesan Roast Chicken delivers a golden, crispy crust with tender, juicy meat. Perfect for family dinners or special occasions, it’s simple, flavorful, and irresistibly aromatic.

Ingredients

·         1 whole chicken (about 4-5 lbs), cleaned and patted dry

·         4 cloves garlic, minced

·         ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

·         3 tablespoons olive oil

·         1 teaspoon dried oregano

·         1 teaspoon dried thyme

·         1 teaspoon paprika

·         1 teaspoon salt

·         ½ teaspoon black pepper

·         1 lemon, halved

·         Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1.      Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2.      Combine garlic, Parmesan, olive oil, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper to form a paste.

3.      Loosen the chicken skin and spread half of the paste under the skin, the rest on top.

4.      Squeeze lemon juice over chicken; place lemon halves inside cavity.

5.      Tie legs together and tuck wings under.

6.      Roast for 1 hour 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

7.      Rest 10 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
