A rich and comforting pasta dish made with tender chicken, creamy cheese sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta, ideal for family dinners or cozy evenings at home.

Ingredients

·         12 oz (340 g) pasta

·         1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed

·         2 tbsp olive oil

·         3 tbsp unsalted butter

·         3 cloves garlic, minced

·         2 tbsp all-purpose flour

·         2 cups (480 ml) whole milk

·         1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

·         1 ½ cups (170 g) shredded cheddar cheese

·         ½ cup (50 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

·         ½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese

·         1 tsp salt

·         ½ tsp black pepper

·         1 tsp paprika

·         ½ tsp garlic powder

·         ½ tsp onion powder

·         ¼ tsp ground mustard (optional)

·         ¼ cup (15 g) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1.      Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2.      Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook seasoned chicken until fully done. Remove and set aside.

3.      Melt butter in the same skillet, add garlic, then whisk in flour.

4.      Slowly add milk and cream, whisking until thickened.

5.      Stir in cheeses until melted and smooth.

6.      Add chicken and pasta, tossing to coat evenly.

7.      Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, shred your own cheese and keep the heat low when melting the sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
