A bold and satisfying meal combining crispy hot honey chicken, classic Caesar salad, and golden fries for the perfect sweet-heat experience.

Ingredients

Chicken breast fillets – 500 g / 1.1 lb
All-purpose flour – 120 g / 1 cup
Cornstarch – 60 g / ½ cup
Garlic powder – 1 tsp
Onion powder – 1 tsp
Smoked paprika – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Eggs – 2 large
Milk – 120 ml / ½ cup
Breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes – 120 g / 2 cups

Honey – 180 ml / ¾ cup
Chili flakes – 1–2 tsp
Apple cider vinegar – 1 tbsp
Unsalted butter – 1 tbsp

Romaine lettuce – 2 large heads
Parmesan cheese – 60 g / ½ cup
Croutons – 1 cup

Mayonnaise – 180 ml / ¾ cup
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Dijon mustard – 1 tsp
Garlic – 1 clove
Non-alcoholic Worcestershire-style sauce – 1 tsp
Parmesan cheese – 30 g / ¼ cup
Salt – ½ tsp
Black pepper – ¼ tsp

Potatoes – 1 kg / 2.2 lb
Olive oil – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Paprika – ½ tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, and paprika. Bake for 35–40 minutes until crispy.
  2. Heat honey, chili flakes, butter, and apple cider vinegar over low heat until combined. Set aside.
  3. Bread chicken by coating in seasoned flour, dipping in egg mixture, then breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry at 175°C (350°F) for 4–5 minutes per side or bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes. Drizzle with hot honey.
  5. Whisk all Caesar dressing ingredients until smooth.
  6. Toss lettuce with dressing, Parmesan, and croutons. Top with sliced chicken and serve with fries.

Notes

Adjust chili flakes to control heat. For extra crispiness, let chicken rest on a wire rack before serving.
